Reporting for Duty

After a decade as the Writing Director of the Humanities Core Course at UC Irvine, I will be moving on in the next academic year to UC San Diego, where I will direct academic programs in the Culture, Art, and Technology program at Sixth College. I'll be teaching courses on new media and digital nonfiction on that campus. I will also be exploring new approaches to interdisciplinary instruction and teaching with technology and developing pedagogical collaborations with Calit2 (the California Institute for Telecommunications and Information Technology) and CRCA (the Center for Research in Computing and the Arts), so it should be an exciting year.
